The third of three very similar “face with stuck-out tongue” emojis, this one is identifiable – you might have guessed it! – by its closed eyes, which are tightly scrunched up, as though in mid laughter. This one is perhaps the wackiest of the three tongue emojis, and is used when something very silly or humorous. It’s also used to laugh at something which is extremely funny, but might also be considered a little bit crude, disgusting or a little off color. It might be considered as the emoji version of LMFAO, or an alternative LOL emoji. It is also used to convey immense excitement or anticipation for something to come.
